Newquay

Newquay is a great place to base yourself for your stay in Cornwall, while it offers great amenities, beaches, restaurants and bars, it also gives you easy access to lots of other places you may wish to visit during your stay.

Westward it situated on Edgcumbe Avenue which is in easy walking distance of the town centre, the beaches, Trenance Gardens, boating lake and the Zoo. 

If you enjoy walking you could head for Porth along the coastal path or you could go in the opposite direction to Fistral Beach and watch the surfers. 

There is a working harbour in Newquay where you can see the fishing boats coming and going and if you are lucky you may spot the seals.

If you are planning to use your car and travel around Cornwall during your stay, there is easy access to the A30 and you can be in another picturesque part of Cornwall inside an hour.

One of the popular places to visit when in Newquay is the Eden Project which is about 15 miles away.
